Travelling at night

At night, we encourage you to travel in the carriage near the guard's compartment and utilise the Nightsafe area (painted blue on the platform).

After the trains have stopped...

Most trains do not operate between midnight and 4.30am. For your convenience a special NightRide bus service is available between these hours.

You can use any valid CityRail return, pensioner, weekly or longer ticket or you can purchase a NightRide bus ticket from the driver. More on NightRide bus services.
