DayTripper

Where can I use a DayTripper?
CityRail - within the Sydney suburban network (bounded by Cowan, Emu Plains, Richmond, Carlingford, Macarthur, Cronulla, Otford and Bondi Junction. An additional access fee is required for Green Square, Mascot, Domestic and International stations.
Sydney Buses - unlimited journeys on all Sydney Buses except special event and tourist buses.
Sydney Ferries - unlimited journeys on all Sydney Ferries except Manly Jetcat and premium services.
They are available at CityRail stations in the Sydney suburban area, on board Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries, at the Sydney Buses TransitShops, and at the Sydney Ferries ticket offices at Circular Quay & Manly. Tickets purchased from CityRail stations & on board Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries are valid from the time of purchase. Tickets purchased from TransitShops are valid at the time of first use and can be pre-purchased.

CityHopper
Unlimited all day CityRail travel around 11 stations within the city area. They include: Central, Martin Place, Museum, Town Hall, St James, Circular Quay, Kings Cross, Wynyard, Redfern, Milsons Point and North Sydney.
You can buy a CityHopper ticket at any CityRail ticket office or ticket vending machine.

If you're coming from further out you can still ask for a CityHopper - they'll just add $2.20 ($1.10 for a Child fare) to your return rail ticket price and you'll have a CityHopper as well!
SydneyPass
Available for travel for any 3, 5 or 7 days within an eight day period for use on:
Unlimited travel on all regular Sydney Buses plus unlimited travel on Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer.
Unlimited travel on all regular Sydney Ferries Services plus RiverCats to Parramatta and JetCat to Manly.
One trip to the Airport from any CityRail station within the Red TravelPass zone, valid during the validity of the ticket (3, 5 or 7 days) OR one trip to the Airport from any City station valid for two months after the expiry date shown on the ticket.
Bonus: tickets sold at Airport Line Stations also include one trip from the Airport to any station in the City.
