Two new weekend services will be introduced on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line and a weekend timetable change will be made on the Hunter Line from Saturday 5 April 2008.

Two new weekend services will depart Newcastle at 1.30am and 3.30am stopping all stations to Fassifern.

The 12.24am Newcastle to Telarah weekend service will now depart Newcastle 50 minutes later at 1.14am and the 1.14am Telarah to Newcastle weekend service will now depart 50 minutes later at 2.04am.
